Pat Brooks is general manager at Ohio-based Eastern Sheet Metal. He has a bachelor’s and master’s in mechanical engineering and a master’s in business from Ohio State University. He is chairman of the subcommittee for ASHRAE’s Duct Design Guide. Brooks is also a member the society’s duct-design committee. He oversees plant operations and visits company representatives to identify how to effectively grow the entire spiral duct market.
