Goettl Air Conditioning in Tempe, Arizona, recently donated two commercial evaporative air conditioners to Max’s Community Closet, helping the charity keep its doors open during the height of the hot summer months. The project, including the purchase and installation of the units, was valued at $12,000.

2015 Spark Something Great grant recipients to receive plasma cutting system

Each school will receive a Hypertherm Powermax45 plasma cutting and gouging system, Hypertherm’s AWS SENSE-approved “Plasma Cutting Technology: Theory and Practice” curriculum kit, and in-person training from a Hypertherm industrial cutting expert.
Based on ASHRAE’s Humidity Control Design Guide for Commercial and Institutional Buildings, the course includes an in-depth discussion of moisture load calculations and how humidity control can be added to HVAC designs for seven different types of commercial buildings.
