Efforts to promote energy efficiency enjoy overwhelming support among Americans, according to a poll released by the National Electrical Manufacturers Association (NEMA) and the National Association of Manufacturers (NAM).

The newly-created Energy Management Association (EMA) is dedicated to advancing energy management services for the benefit of building owners. According to the EMA, it is responding to a need created by the growing importance of managing and reducing energy consumption in buildings.

Construction on a new energy research facility at the U.S. Department of Energy’s (DOE’s) Pacific Northwest National Laboratory (PNNL) campus will start this April.
