The flooded evaporator technology reduces operating costs by approximately 10-12 percent, says the company. The Bubble Expansion Valve washes cold refrigerants through 100 percent of the evaporator. The control signal for regulating refrigerant is via the condensate instead of from the superheated evaporator return gas.

Sound Blankets are now available for commercial compressors. Their universal-fit design makes them compatible with most brands of scroll and reciprocating compressors from 5 to 30 tons. They provide a 5-dB noise reduction, minimum, which is about a 40 percent decrease, says the company.
