Holtschlag, ICP vice president of sales and marketing, presented awards to the U.S. distributors during the recent conference. Awards went to single location and multi-location distributors.

Arzel Zoning Technology announced its Comfort College™ schedule for the first half of 2009. The seminar is held monthly at Arzel’s Cleveland location and several times throughout the year in Pasadena, Calif. Since the first class in 2006, Arzel said it has graduated over 700 contractors, distributors, and other HVAC professionals.
Bob Dwyer of Carbon Monoxide Safety Association (COSA) recently conducted a full-day carbon monoxide safety exam readiness seminar to around 30 members of the San Antonio, Texas, chapter of RSES. The attendees went through discussions about the prevalence of carbon monoxide hazards.
Under a ruling issued by the U.S. Department of Energy (DOE), ANSI/ASHRAE/IESNA Standard 90.1-2004 Energy Standard for Buildings Except Low-Rise Residential Buildings, has been established by the DOE as the commercial building reference standard for state building energy codes under the federal Energy Policy Act.
