Camfil Air Pollution Control (APC) announced that its parent, Camfil, Stockholm, Sweden, has appointed Magnus Yngen to the position of president and CEO. He succeeds Alan O’Connell, who held the post for the past 12 years.

Siemens Government Technologies Inc. announced that Multiple Award Task Order Contracts (MATOC) have been awarded to support renewable energy on Department of Defense (DOD) installations. The four MATOCs have multiple awardees but the Siemens team was the only one that was selected for all of them.

Generac Holdings Inc., a leading designer and manufacturer of generators and other engine powered products, has announced the signing of a purchase agreement with Baldor Electric Co., a wholly-owned subsidiary of ABB Group, to acquire substantially all of the assets of Baldor’s generator products division.

EnerNOC Inc., a provider of energy intelligence software, announced that EnerNOC and the Massachusetts Department of Energy Resources (DOER) have won the 2013 Region I Energy Project of the Year Award from the Association of Energy Engineers (AEE).

The Air Conditioning Contractors of America (ACCA) announced that Skip Snyder has passed away after a 13 year battle with cancer. Snyder was chairman of ACCA in 2004 – 2005. He was also chairman of North American Technician Excellence (NATE) from 2000 to 2003.

Mitsubishi Electric Corp. announced that it has begun producing the indoor units of commercial air conditioners for the North American market at Mitsubishi Electric US Inc.’s wholly owned subsidiary company, PIMS, S.A. de C.V., located in Baja California, Mexico.

The Institute of Refrigeration (IOR) has issued a call for papers for the third International Institute of Refrigeration’s Conference on Sustainability and the Cold Chain. The conference will take place at St. Marys University College, Twickenham, London, June 23-25, 2014.

Lime Energy Co. has announced the award of a two-year contract valued at approximately $22 million from National Grid for the implementation of its Small Business Direct Install Program for the Western New York Region. 

Hannon Armstrong Sustainable Infrastructure Capital Inc., a leading provider of debt and equity financing for sustainable infrastructure projects, announced that it is working with Johnson Controls to provide the funding for nearly $27 million in energy efficiency upgrades to government buildings across the city of Louisville, Ky.
