Siemens Government Technologies Inc. announced that Multiple Award Task Order Contracts (MATOC) have been awarded to support renewable energy on Department of Defense (DOD) installations. The four MATOCs have multiple awardees but the Siemens team was the only one that was selected for all of them.

Generac Holdings Inc., a leading designer and manufacturer of generators and other engine powered products, has announced the signing of a purchase agreement with Baldor Electric Co., a wholly-owned subsidiary of ABB Group, to acquire substantially all of the assets of Baldor’s generator products division.

The Air Conditioning Contractors of America (ACCA) announced that Skip Snyder has passed away after a 13 year battle with cancer. Snyder was chairman of ACCA in 2004 – 2005. He was also chairman of North American Technician Excellence (NATE) from 2000 to 2003.
