The New York Geothermal Organization (NY-GEO) hosted its annual conference April 19-20 in Albany, New York. The event, which registered as the largest in the organization’s history, allowed elected officials, government agencies, and industry professionals from around the world to share the progress being made toward implementation of geothermal heating and cooling technologies.

Heating, Air-conditioning & Refrigeration Distributors International (HARDI) applauds the House Committee on Education and the Workforce on its approval of the Working Families Flexibility Act of 2017 (H.R. 1180).
On March 28, Trump issued the Energy Independence executive order, which directs the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) to begin reviewing — and presumably weaken the provisions of — the Clean Power Plan. The order is also designed to decrease the nation’s dependence on imported fuels, mainly by helping revive the coal industry.
While many educational sessions were presented at the Air-Conditioning, Heating, and Refrigeration (AHR) Expo, perhaps the most popular was the course on global HVAC trends offered by the Building Services Research and Information Association (BSRIA).
