Thierry Vanlancker, president of its fluoroproducts business at the Chemours Co., is retiring. Chemours also announced it is investing in large-scale manufacturing to expand supply of its Opteon™ family of refrigerants.
Although I know the refrigeration business is a very tough one, I still think refrigeration contractors and technicians have it better on the “R” side of the business than do the guys on the HVAC side.
