Brady Inc., a Trane franchise that provides energy systems and building solutions for commercial and industrial facilities across North Carolina, has announced a $25,000 donation to the College of Engineering at North Carolina A&T State University.
The Heating, Refrigeration, and Air Conditioning Institute of Canada (HRAI) board of directors and past chairs are developing a new strategic direction for the institute and have called for member input. HRAI is asking members to read the draft strategic plan and provide comments.

The Heating, Refrigeration and Air Conditioning Institute of Canada (HRAI) announced that the HVAC Coalition of Ontario held its annual general meeting. Martin Luymes of HRAI presented an outline of the coalition’s plan for tackling the emerging problem of electric utilities venturing into the HVAC business.
The Ontario Power Authority (OPA) along with local electric utilities introduced the HVAC Incentives Initiative for 2011-2014. The new Heating & Cooling Incentive will be marketed as one of a family of energy-efficient initiatives for the home.

The Ontario Ministry of Energy has proposed amendments to the Ontario Energy Efficiency Regulation 82/95. It posted proposed energy efficiency requirements and/or testing methods for 11 new products and updates/revisions to 19 existing products.
