Energy Inc. has installed Ontario's largest, most powerful solar thermal
heating system at one of WoodGreen’s housing sites on Toronto’s Queen St. East.
The installation is a partnership between WoodGreen Community Services and
Mondial Energy.
Energy Curtailment Specialists, a private demand response provider headquartered in Buffalo, N.Y., announced that Brooklyn Law School has joined its demand response program known as Operation Save New York.
The Jefferson Independent School District (ISD) in Jefferson, Texas, has approved a $1 million performance contract with the Energy Solutions division of TAC. TAC will provide facility upgrades to improve operations, comfort, and efficiency at all district schools.

The HVACR Heritage Centre Canada is an online virtual museum that catalogs and promotes the historic achievements of the Canadian HVACR industry. The museum maintains both federal and charitable status, and has recently elected Tom Boutette and Bill Podd as new directors to its board.
According to Mechanical Contractors Association
(MCA) of Chicago administrators, they understand the vital importance of green
building. “Through educational initiatives, we are making sure MCA member
contractors are ready to meet present as well as future green building needs,”
said Dan Bulley.

residential HVAC course beginning Oct. 16. The classes will be held from 6-9
p.m. on Tuesday and Thursday until Feb. 28, 2008.
Hugh Hiigel has joined Eclipse Inc., Rockford,
Ill., as corporate services product manager. He assumes responsibility for
managing the company’s global service and support products portfolio and for
achieving service growth objectives.
Honolulu Seawater Air Conditioning LLC (HSWAC) is currently developing a
25,000-ton seawater air conditioning district cooling system for downtown Honolulu.
The system is designed to serve buildings in the downtown core.
