The Heating, Refrigeration and Air Conditioning Institute of Canada (HRAI) released the 2010 update on the Canadian CFC chiller stock study. This update estimates that 253 CFC chillers were converted or replaced during 2010 in Canada. This represents a 3 percent decrease compared to 2009.

Laredo Community College has been granted a six year accreditation of its HVACR program by HVAC Excellence. The school completed a self-study evaluation of its program; HVAC Excellence then validated the self-study through an intense review of the program.
