Cisco Saves by Improving Exhaust Recirculation in Data Center

Cisco Systems achieved an estimated saving of $120,000 per year in energy costs via simulation of a data center. Simulation results were used to guide the placement of floor grilles and blanking panels that lowered IT equipment inlet temperatures, making it possible to raise the chilled water set point by 8°F.

Duty Free Americas Inc. reduced warehouse electricity costs 25 percent and eliminated moisture-related damages to goods by installing DuCool’s desiccant cooling and dehumidification systems. The installation made it possible to maintain constant conditions of 76°F and 52 percent relative humidity even in the hot Miami summer.
