Nordyne Offers Programs, Honors for Independent Dealers

Nordyne’s participation with wholesale distributors is not a new concept for the manufacturing company. The company, headquartered in O’Fallon, Mo., partners with independent distributors for the vast majority of its residential and manufactured housing distribution.
When a customer has decided they are going to buy something and are now in line or actually at the point of sale for checkout, this is a great opportunity to increase your chance of gaining more sales. The key is in both your communication and in your products for display at your point of purchase area.
Evolve ’13 is in the record books. The 2013 HARDI Annual Conference gathered hundreds of wholesale distributors, suppliers, manufacturer reps, and other industry players at the JW Marriott Desert Ridge in Phoenix, Dec. 7-10. The days were spent learning, networking, and participating in both educational and entertaining sessions.
The Air-Conditioning, Heating, and Refrigeration Institute (AHRI) announced two new certification programs for variable frequency drives (VFDs) and datacom cooling (DCOM) equipment.
Thermostat Recycling Corp. (TRC) awarded Johnstone Supply the 2013 Big Man On Planet (BMOP) title and trophy. This is an annual award given by TRC in partnership with HARDI, during the association’s annual conference.
HARDI released the third quarter Unitary Market Share report to participating distributor members. The third quarter report provided insight into the furnace and ducted unitary markets.
Members of the Air-Conditioning, Heating, Refrigeration Institute (AHRI) got up to speed about the industry and did some networking as they held their annual meeting in Amelia Island, Fla., recently.
