Rosenberg USA has introduced six new double inlet Ecofit forward-curved centrifugal blowers with speed-controllable EC motors. The new blowers, designated GDSuG9 146x188, include constant pressure, constant airflow and standard pressure/airflow models. Constant pressure and constant airflow blowers can provide simple solutions to common air movement problems.

HARDI has launched its newest initiative: the Proven Vendor Program. The program is designed to provide HARDI members with a peer-reviewed listing of HARDI Service Vendors that have established track records of good business with other HARDI members.

ST. LOUIS — Unico Inc., maker of high-velocity, small duct heating and air conditioning systems, is expanding its presence in Canada with the addition of HVAC distributor Mits Air conditioning Inc. The distributor is based in Mississauga, Ontario, serving customers throughout Canada and parts of North America.

I want to write this column about why you should attend the HARDI conference. I’ve written a variant of this column with that slant over the years, even when I was not the editor of HARDI’s official publication.

Back in January, I made a commitment to HARDI members to make real progress moving beyond the traditional frictions that can occur between distributors and manufacturers – to help manufacturers grow through their wholesale distribution partners as opposed to other channels.
