Plumbing-Heating-Cooling Contractors–National Association (PHCC) members met with federal lawmakers to support workforce development programs, defend natural gas as a vital part of the U.S. energy mix, promote consumer choice, and advocate for pro-growth tax policies, a PHCC press release said.
New courses on the PHCC Academy platform are available to all plumbing and HVACR students, apprentices, and practicing technicians, as well as to business owners and administrators.
“For every dollar you spend in pre-construction planning, you will recover an additional four to six dollars in productivity," said Kirk Alter, a Purdue University professor emeritus.
Professionals at any level can now enroll in the new courses through a dedicated portal being launched for thePHCC Academy, an online platform offering training programs with specialized courses for everyone from pre-apprentices to seasoned business owners.
HVAC and plumbing and professionals who attend the Quality Service Contractors conference will be able to take advantage of educational sessions, talks on a range of industry topics, and opportunities for networking.
