The webcast will be two hours long and broadcast live at two different days and times for the convenience of a global audience: April 17, from 7 to 9 p.m. Eastern time, and on April 18, from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Eastern time.

The global refrigerants market was valued at $9.5 billion in 2015, and is projected to reach $18.5 billion by 2022, registering a compound annual growth rate (CAGR) of 9.9 percent from 2016 to 2022, according to a new report published by Allied Market Research.
Amazon is set to usher in the next generation of “smart” convenience stores with the launch of its Amazon Go concept, replacing traditional checkouts with smart technology. The store concept works by automatically logging purchases to the user’s Amazon account when a product is removed from the shelf.

The global commercial refrigeration equipment market is forecast to register a compound annual growth rate (CAGR) of 5 percent over the forecast period of 2016 to 2026, to be valued at $45.9 billion by 2026, according to a report by Persistence Market Research.
I often tell people that refrigeration is a “hidden” industry. It’s global, and it’s vitally important in many areas of human life. Yet most people never think about it. it would be nice to see our industry get a little recognition, wouldn’t it? So, how about a National Refrigeration Day?
Although I know the refrigeration business is a very tough one, I still think refrigeration contractors and technicians have it better on the “R” side of the business than do the guys on the HVAC side.
