PCS-8+ and PCS-14 pipe cutting systems make a fast, square cut on copper, all plastic, cast iron soil pipe, carbon, and stainless steel piping. During pipe cutting, a system fits firmly on the pipe and the saw blade is always in the correct position. No steering is necessary. The weight of the machine lies on the pipe during cutting. Because pipe can be cut at ground level, there is no need to lift the pipe. Sparks and dust are kept to a minimum. The systems have a wide cutting range; the pipe cutting systems are able to cut between 1- and 14-inch NPS in diameter. It has a speed of 4,000 rpm when unloaded, a weight of 20.7 pounds, and a 1.75-horsepower rating.
