The Directair TCU air-temperature control units are designed to meet the demands of the surface mount technology, printing, and electronics industries. It is a single, self-contained unit and can either preheat air as a machine starts up, or supply cool air. Under production conditions, the unit can maintain an air temperature variance of as little as ±1°C. Applications include temporary emergency cooling, personnel cooling, product cooling, electronic/telecoms enclosure cooling, and general spot cooling. The tempered air is directly ducted to the application via a 6-1/2- to 10-inch (2- to 3-meter) insulated copolymer flexible duct, eliminating the need for additional return air ducting. Available in 3- and 6-kW cooling capacities, the units are supplied with fan-speed control, capacity control, alarm beacon, automatic condensate removal, and lockable castors. The 1- and 2-kW-capacity units do not have automatic fan-speed control or heating facility features.
