The QVM9 is a wall-mounted, gas-fired, dual-purpose hydronic heat system for space heating in addition to on-demand domestic hot water supply. The unit is available in 90,000-, 115,000-, and 135,000-Btuh capacities with a 90 percent AFUE efficiency level and Energy Star® approval. Heating features include a minimum flow of 1.06 gpm, a working pressure of 15 to 20 psi, and a temperature range of 104° to 176°F. It offers sealed combustion and venting in Schedule 40 PVC or ABS. The intake fan assembly modulates to provide the correct airflow for combustion. The fan is designed for low-noise and low-vibration operation. The microprocessor provides precise control of unit operation, including capacity control to match the heat load, and monitors all of the unit safety functions. A circulation pump is included for the heating system.
