Two cfm/cmm thermo-anemometers, the AN200 and AN100, feature a large (9,999 count) LCD backlit simultaneous display of airflow or air velocity as well as air temperature. The units have 0.01 m/sec resolution, 20 point average for airflow, and 3 percent velocity accuracy via a low-friction ball bearing vane wheel on a 3.9-foot (120 cm) cable. Easy-to-set area dimensions (cm2) are stored in the meters' internal memory for the next time the units are powered on. In addition, the AN200 features a built-in noncontact infrared thermometer, which includes a laser pointer to identify the target area and can measure remote surface temperatures up to 500°F (260°C) with an 8:1 distance-to-spot ratio. The AN200 can be used for applications such as testing, monitoring, repair, and verification of HVAC systems, fume hoods, ventilation systems, environmental wind and temperature, boiler rooms, ionizer flow output, and plant/facility maintenance.
