The ElectriPak is an electric heat module that can be added to the company's standard air distribution system, in both new and existing installations. The unit delivers 10-, 15-, or 20-kW electric heat, depending on the unit size. It fits directly inside horizontal fan coil units and comes equipped with an internal modulation feature that automatically regulates heat discharge temperatures. The modulating feature uses only the electricity needed to provide a constant discharge temperature, which is more efficient than traditional electric duct heaters, claims the company. The unit is designed to adjust output regardless of load condition, thereby eliminating the need for external regulating devices, and has solid-state power controllers. It does not require any ductwork configuring or assembly and can be used in conjunction with heat pumps. Built with fail-safe circuitry that satisfies UL safety requirements, the ElectriPak is constructed of heavy-gauge, corrosion-resistant steel.
