Lo/Mit radiant barrier coating is a low "e" paint. The paint can be applied in an attic space or to a rooftop to provide a way to reduce a home or building's air conditioning costs, as well as less wear and tear on an HVAC system and fewer warranty callbacks. This silver-colored, low-viscosity, nonthickness-dependent coating can be spray or roll-applied to just about any surface. The paint will skin dry within one minute after application and will dry to touch generally within 15 minutes to one hour, depending on ambient temperature and humidity. The paint is available in 5-gallon pails. Solvent-borne and water-borne versions are available. The coating can be applied during new construction and retrofit applications.
