Stakes is working with contractors and associations to develop language, culture, and safety training to meet the needs of the growing Hispanic construction workforce. Most recently, she has partnered with the Mechanical Contractors Association of Chicago to offer courses such as Construction Survival Spanish, Safety Spanish Essentials, and Managing a Spanish-speaking Workforce. She is also offering English as a Second Language classes tailored for the construction industry, as well as OSHA 10-hour and 30-hour classes for construction in English and Spanish.
