A sightproof configuration model has been added to the manufacturer's Miami-Dade County hurricane louver line. The louver can be used in coastal areas where louvers must be hurricane resistant. The ESS-501D, made of extruded aluminum, is a 5-inch drainable blade model. The blades are chevron-style. The sizes range from 8 by 24 inches to 144 by 72 inches. Options include flanged frame, extended sill, a variety of bird and insect screens, security bars, and filter racks. A number of architectural finishes, including clear anodize, integral color anodize, baked enamel, and Kynar®, are optional.
