The Plus option on the TowerClean and SideStreamClean separator systems removes particles as small as 0.35 microns from hydronic heating and cooling loops. According to the manufacturer, both the TowerCleanPlus and SideStreamCleanPlus systems improve water clarity, help maintain heat transfer performance of equipment, reduce the risk of Legionnaires' disease and underdeposit corrosion, and improve the effectiveness of chemical water treatment programs. The TowerCleanPlus systems keep cooling tower and remote sump basins free from dirt and debris, while removing solids from the system water. The Plus feature on the SideStreamClean system removes solids for the treatment of condenser and chilled- and hot-water loops, where no basin cleaning is required, the company states.
