The Purifan System is a self-contained circular unit that takes the place of the paddles of a standard ceiling fan. It uses a three-stage filtration system: a prefilter, a charcoal filter, and a HEPA filter, to help remove contaminants in a home, office, or workplace. It uses the natural high and low air pressures in the building to draw up unclean air and recirculate the fresh air at a rate of 2,000 cfm. According to the manufacturer, this unit is a quiet alternative to air purifiers.
