The new Copeland Scrollâ„¢ 30-horsepower compressor (ZR380) delivers 380,000 Btuh and is said to be the world's largest scroll compressor for use in commercial applications. These large compressors extend the benefits of scroll technology (higher energy efficiency and reliability) to even larger commercial applications, such as 20- to 200-ton air conditioning systems and chillers found in shopping centers, office buildings, and hospitals, the manufacturer says.
