The PD 32 laser range meter provides fast, accurate measurements with the touch of a button, the company says. To use, aim the laser at the target and press the measuring button. The meter shows the distance, from 2 inches to 660 feet, with a pinpoint accuracy of ±1/16 of an inch. The company states that the meter makes measuring areas and volumes, including cubic yards, easy. The unit can add and subtract distances, which can be used for taking offset measurements and setting out distances. Alkaline batteries or rechargeable cells (available in an optional charging kit, PDA 81) can be used to power the meter.
