Detailed IAQ and general environmental reports can be generated for specific-site surveys with new environmental report generation software. The software operates with the DirectSense mobile PC-based IAQ, air velocity, VOC, particulate, and toxic gas test monitors, and with the Zephyr (pressure) and Surveyor (IAQ) instruments. A Template Design wizard walks the user through report setup, which allows the user to define how to display measured data (carbon dioxide, carbon monoxide, ozone, percent of relative humidity, VOCs, etc.). It can automatically insert notes - text, drawings, and photos - taken in the field on the mobile PC. Also, equipment descriptions/specifications/photos, probe calibration information, company information/logos, and other information and images can be added to reports. Additional templates may be constructed for laboratory fumehood, HVAC balancing, worker exposure, or other environmental evaluations.
