The AlfaNova 400 is the newest and largest of the AlfaNova Series of fusion-bonded, 100 percent stainless steel plate heat exchangers. According to the manufacturer, AlfaFusion bonding technology provides higher mechanical strength, high-temperature resistance (up to 1,020 degrees F) and pressure resistance up to 290 psi (20 bar). It is equipped with the Suction-Xâ„¢ system to boost the coefficient of performance in ammonia chillers for industrial refrigeration and air conditioning applications.
