The DS is an advanced mission-critical cooling system for data centers, says the manufacturer. The systems contain Copeland digital scroll compressors. According to the company, the compressors feature stepless variable-capacity control, which allows the cooling systems to be matched to the exact requirements of the room at any time. The iCom control system coordinates operation among multiple DS units and has an internal service log and notification capabilities, spare parts identification, and a system setup wizard. According to the manufacturer, the new blower drive system features a laminated HVAC high-tensile-corded belt and automatic belt tensioning system, which eliminates belt maintenance.
