The MediaPakCK-12/24 disposable plastic media container is constructed of recyclable polystyrene plastic and combines the durability of a high-impact plastic module with the maintenance benefits of a disposable cardboard variety, the manufacturer states. The module features an integral 1-inch header to fit any 12-inch headered filter section, box filter section, or universal frame. The company says the rigid and durable construction of the media containers makes it suitable for varying climates and environmental conditions. The rigid frame eliminates the potential of bowing, which could cause air bypass within the system, says the manufacturer. The module's 1-inch-deep media bed is filled with a choice of dry-chemical air filtration media.
