The Z-line Series MR-11 high-performance pleated air filter features new, synthetic "shaped fiber" media, which is enhanced with an electrostatic charge. The new media will not absorb moisture or support microbial growth, states the manufacturer. The MR-11 has a MERV 11 efficiency rating per ASHRAE Test Method 52.2, and an average dust spot efficiency of 56 percent per ASHRAE Test Method 52.1. According of the manufacturer, the MR-11 is an excellent primary filter or prefilter and can be used in a variety of commercial, industrial, and residential applications.
