TURNERS FALLS, Mass. — Heat-fab, a manufacturer of products for the hearth and heating industries, celebrated its 25th anniversary by sponsoring a community open house on June 21.

The event featured factory tours as well as the NASCAR Busch North Series Car #55, of which Heat-fab is an associate sponsor. There were prize giveaways throughout the event, and special activities were held for children.

Heat-fab was founded in Greenfield, Mass., in 1978 by Lloyd and Millie Green, both of whom are still active in the company. Their son, Harold Green, has directed Heat-fab’s day-to-day operations as president since 1999. Heat-fab moved to the Turners Falls Industrial Park facility in 1997, and currently employs approximately 100.

Says Harold Green, “The success and growth of Heat-fab in this last quarter century is due in large part to the hard work of [past and present employees]. We wish to thank them.”

Visitors were able to tour Heat-fab’s facility. The manufacturer’s chimneys and vent products are sold across North America.
