Hughes Supply Inc., headquartered in Orlando, Fla., has made $100,000 worth of donations to disaster relief organizations in the aftermath of Hurricane Charley.

The company donated $25,000 to the American Red Cross, $25,000 to the Salvation Army, and $50,000 to the Hughes Supply Foundation, with all monies earmarked to assist in the rebuilding and recovery efforts.

"We want to do all we can to help Florida recover and renew itself," said Tom Morgan, president and CEO. "We are fortunate that none of our employees were seriously injured and that we have the ability to give to those in need during this time of crisis."

Hughes is a major wholesale distributor with nearly 500 locations in 38 states.
