The 40-amp multi-voltage commercial refrigeration defrost timer DTMV40 is applicable to air defrost (compressor shutdown) and electric or hot gas defrost systems. The defrost timer is designed for time-/temperature-/pressure-terminated applications. It features a moisture-resistant coating, and is available in different mounting configurations, says the company. The unit incorporates semi-automatic voltage selection by means of a single DIP switch (120 or 208/240VAC). The heavy-duty (box lug) terminal block can accommodate two 8AWG wires per position. Features include real-time clock face for setting, with captive trippers on 15-minute defrost intervals; moisture-resistant conformal coated board with LED lights for defrost and refrigeration cycles; and compact Valox® NEMA 3R indoor/outdoor enclosure.
