The HRV90H heat recovery ventilator (HRV), a part of the Fresh Air Systems product line, eliminates excess moisture during the heating season, while recovering heat from outgoing stale air. The HRV is ideal for Northern homes ranging in size from 1,500 to 3,000 square feet, states the manufacturer. The unit has a net recovering efficiency of 65 percent when operating at a low speed at 32°F. Two configurations - one with ports on the side and the other with ports on the top - are available. Due to the patented Y tandem, only one hole has to be cut from the home to the outside. The Y tandem consists of a duct divided inside into two, which allows for two flex ducts to be connected at one end and a wall cap at the other. A built-in electrical drawer allows for part replacement.
