The FSDR25 is a "true round" Class 1 leakage-rated combination fire and smoke damper designed for use in metal, wooden, or concrete fire and smoke-rated partitions and concrete floors. The company says the FSDR25 is the ideal choice when round duct is used on a project. It comes equipped with retaining "cinch" plates. It can be installed with the plate on only one side of the wall. The damper is rated for a maximum velocity of 3,000 fpm and elevated temperatures of 250 degrees or 350 degrees F. EFL (electric fuse link) or PFL (pneumatic fuse link) heat-actuated release devices permit controlled, rather than instantaneous, closure through the damper actuator. THE EFL and PFL allow the damper to reopen automatically after a test, smoke detection, or power failure condition.
