CFM Equipment Distributors of Sacramento, Calif., placed second in the contest. CFM delivers products, customer support, and training to contractors in northern California and northern Nevada.
Coleman's National Distributor Contest rewards distributors who execute the sales and marketing programs Coleman provides its distributors. Sales performance and growth also influence the selection of a contest winner.
Under the terms of the contest, distributors are grouped by relative size and earn points according to their performance in a combination of 19 different categories.
The categories range from product mix, number of dealers, and total sales growth to participation in a variety of Coleman Libertiesâ„¢ programs, including co-marketing, and Coleman Business Training University (BTU) programs.
"We are fortunate to work with some of the best distribution companies in the industry," said Mickey Smith, Coleman brand marketing manager. "Webb and CFM were particularly adept at implementing the support tools Coleman offers to create successful sales and marketing programs and, as a result, enhance their performance during the past year."
