The unit is equipped with a sensitive LED scale (0- to 640-ppm range) and beeper to pinpoint small leaks of gaseous hydrocarbons from piping or appliances, states the company. Its 8-inch-long flexible probe can access hard-to-reach areas, the company says. Features of the unit include a response time of less than 2 seconds, sensitivity of 40 ppm, 25 hours of continuous operation, and soft vinyl case and belt support accessories.
