Ronald Dale Lance

SPRINGFIELD, Ill. — Ronald Dale Lance, 67, died June 21 at home. Mr. Lance owned Contractor Utility Sales and Midwest Gland Pack.

According to Cheryl Hibdon from Heartland Waterworks Supply Inc., Mr. Lance died “with his wife and children by his side.” He enjoyed traveling and was an avid sportsman who was especially fond of fishing with his sons.

His sons, Michael and Tim, will continue operating the two companies. Mr. Lance is also survived by daughter Traci, six grandchildren, his mother, two sisters, and his wife of 43 years, Joyce.

M.W. ‘Bud’ Meyer

AURORA, Ill. — M.W. “Bud” Meyer, 80, died July 6, 2003. He was a co-founder of William F. Meyer Co., a plumbing supply firm. Mr. Meyer was president of the company until he retired in 1987. He was also president of the American Supply Association in 1983.

He is survived by his wife, Jean Seifrid Meyer; sons William (Carol) and John (Sonja) and their six children; and stepchildren Richard (Ann Marie) Seifrid, Nancy (Earl) Bowers, Janice (Craig) Pittman, and David (Lisa) Seifrid, and their seven children.
