The SmartComfort™ DLX 80 natural gas furnaces have a patent-pending sound-reducing double-wall door, which replaces the burner box to reduce operating sounds and provide the increased durability and strength of this double-wall door design, states the company. Multipoise models allow upflow, downflow, horizontal left, or horizontal right installation without an accessory conversion kit. This series of furnaces also features dedicated downflow, low-NOx models. Other features include the RPJ® III aluminized steel heat exchanger, accessory connections for easy electronic air cleaner and humidifier installation, and SmartValve II ignition system with diagnostics. LP gas conversion kits are available.
