They are designed to clean and prevent scale, corrosion, drain clogging, and odors from forming in condensate pans and humidifiers. To use, place a tablet in a condensate pan or humidifier; they remain active for up to three months, says the company. According to the manufacturer, the tablets are noncorrosive, biodegradable, nontoxic, and safe on all plastic and metal surfaces.
