The CRBA 52-inch spun aluminum downblast power roof ventilators (PRV) are designed for a range of general exhaust applications where medium and high ranges of air volume and pressure are specified, the company says. These units can be used with or without ducts. Features include an aluminum motor compartment cover, which is weather resistant and easily removed for access to the motor and drives, states the manufacturer. Out-of-airstream open motors also are isolated for protection from the exhaust airstream. The centrifugal wheel is a non-overloading, backward-inclined design, and it is computer balanced. Wheel-balance weights are permanently affixed. The backplate fins draw cool air through the motor compartment.
