DAYTONA BEACH, Fla. - More than 2,000 Hughes Supply customers from central and northern Florida attended a customer appreciation event and expo earlier this year at Daytona International Speedway.

Some 100 randomly chosen customers of the distributor took part in the Richard Petty Driving Experience with rides around the track at more than 160 mph. There was also a vendor showcase with 95 displays; free food, drinks, and entertainment; and a car cutting demonstration using a saw blade.
