MISSISSAUGA, Ontario — The Heating, Refrigeration and Air Conditioning Institute of Canada (HRAI) is bringing its SkillTech Academy to Chicago. The academy will present a two-day certification program called “Residential Mechanical Ventilation Installation.” The course will be held on Apr. 14 – 15.

According to HRAI, the course covers the fundamentals of air quality assessment as well as system requirements, focusing specifically on system design and installation. Course participants will receive the complete HRAI Residential Ventilation Manual, as endorsed by the Home Ventilation Institute (HVI).

Other course topics include mechanical system interaction, ventilation capacity, duct layout and sizing, airflow measurement, and grille and diffuser sizing.
