Paul Goldman, ECM business leader for GE Industrial Systems (left), converses with Ed Dooley, vice president of education and training for the Air-Conditioning and Refrigeration Institute, at a recent open house to mark the completion of the 3 millionth ECM motor at the GE ECM motor plant in Springfield, Mo. “Because of the greater performance value it brings to heating and cooling products, ECM technology has generated $3 billion of additional profitability to this industry’s OEMs, distributors, and dealers over the past 10 years. We appreciate and thank all our customers and partners for what they have done to make this possible,” said Goldman.
