The Environmental Monitoring Solution (EMS) is an end-to-end temperature and humidity monitoring system. Designed to use the company's sensor networking platform and SensiNet networking software, the EMS includes support for multiple gateways. The sensors conduct real-time environmental monitoring and now have remote sensing probes for hard-to-reach locations, the manufacturer says. The wireless EMS node transmits temperature, humidity, supervisory, and low-battery information to the central management console. The EMS management software displays real-time and historical temperature and humidity information. The user can determine and set how frequently the nodes will report as well as establish threshold settings that, if exceeded, will cause alarms to be generated.
