Skymetry is a wireless remote monitoring device designed to ensure continued uptime performance of air conditioning, refrigeration, and cooling systems. According to the manufacturer, it monitors timers, power failure, etc.; reports chiller trouble and failed starts; controls cold-water loops; offers heat pump performance recording; and collects data from remote sites. The system monitors and controls equipment and environmental conditions using eight dry inputs, six analog inputs, built-in power failure detection, and two relay outputs. The unit includes a software package with access to the manufacturer's Web site, so that managers can remotely monitor input and output status and alarm history.
