The AC (4P) desuperheater handles R-134a for use either in commercial or industrial applications. These AC Series heat recovery units reduce operating costs by heating potable water from recovered waste heat generated from air conditioning and refrigeration systems, the company says. The vented, double-wall construction prevents cross-contamination, states the manufacturer. Units heat water up to 140 degrees F. It is available with multiple refrigerant circuits. According to the manufacturer, the units are ideal for systems ranging from 5 to 200 hp.
